It's not that easy finding that right place to take our beloved cars/trucks to nowadays. We have to have that warm fuzzy feeling of trust knowing we can leave our cars to be repaired or the regular schedule maintenance they need in order to run efficiently. I went to have my cars new front pads installed with machining of the rotors. I have a 24' Traverse LT and we all know the complications that these newer cars can have when it comes to anything technical. For instance, these computers need regular updates to run at the cars peakness just like our android or apple phones. No updates, issues start trickling in. In my case, got the brakes installed, stops just fine, just like it has new brakes. Same day, brake sensor dummy light and the pad life percentage is nil. Thought maybe the system just needed a day or so to reset back to normal. Not in this case. It kept coming on and no percentage. I called Greg (manager) and he was like, okay, bring it so we can take a look and see what's going on.
Took it back in, Greg was enjoying a vacation so I believe it was the store's assistant manager Bryan (Brian if spelled wrong) was there to help. He said to go ahead and leave it so they could check it out. Bryan calls me and informs me that they couldn't figure it out but that there may be an update that's needed to reset the EBCM. I called the dealership and they were insistent that there was no software updates at this time but bring it in and they could figure it out and flash the EBCM but if there was aftermarket brakes they did not even touch it. Huh? So, I called Brake Masters back and explained what I was told. We are all dumbfounded not understanding the dealerships rationale behind that philosophy. Crooks anyway. Fine. I waited until I was able to take back in to Greg and Associates and Greg was able to find out that it truly is a software issue for the EBCM. He calls me, it's ready for pick up. He explains that he needed to download the new updated software and then install into my car. Him and his crew took it for a test drive and done! No more sensor dummy light and I have brake pad percentage. So, would I recommend Greg and crew at Brake Master's #139? I can say confidently, absolutely 100%. For any future issues, that's where I'm going!

Greg took care of me. I had multiple issues with my cooling system (hoses, radiator, etc). They went thru a very thorough process and in the end it was a handshake and a promise. Couldn't recommend them more! Thx guys!

Greg, the manager was great! I called in the morning because my breaks were barking he said to come in right away for a free inspection. Got it right on the lift and was able to offer some coupons so I was able to get the rear brakes done immediately. I also added an oil change at the same time done it was already on the lift. In and out with rear brake pads and an oil change for about the same price as just the brakes somewhere else, really close. Will definitely be back four the front brakes when they are necessary. I have a quote already saved until then. Highly recommended!

Although I only went in for an oil change, I ended up needing drive belts replaced. Not what I was expecting however, I was so glad that this problem was discovered since I had to drive out of town the next day. There were two things that the guys at Brake Masters did exceptionally well, aside from the work done. The first thing was a complete check of my car, not just throwing the car on a rack and changing the oil. The second thing was showing me a picture of the problem. I don't recall ever being shown pictures of car problems before. On top of everything else, the work was done quickly. Even though the name is Brake Masters, they can handle other car issues. I highly recommend this location. I will return.
