There is news you never want to hear. Your engine needs to be replaced was that kind of news.Many would have opted to buy a new car but mine has been such a trusted and loyal vehicle and it just wasn't the option I choose.I started going to my local Brake Masters a few years ago. I was in search of a trustworthy and straightforward mechanic. As a female, I found several shops I just didn't trust. When I discovered this shop, I was greeted by a knowledgeable female manager. I told her point blank what kind of service I needed and she told me that she would work to deserve my trust. (BASELINE AND 24TH ST MESA AZ)She has done that at all steps of the way. I loved the service they provided for my significant other so I decided to give this place a shot.I scheduled an appointment same day. I brought my vehicle in for an inspection and received a detailed breakdown of what was needed.Lori was so kind and explained everything very well. I was lucky enough to grow up helping my dad work on cars. I know more about cars than the average woman or even man for that matter. I can't count the number of times I have run into not so honest mechanics that think I don't know what they're talking about, don't know what labor is involved, over pricing me or outright fixing one thing and breaking another so I will come back. That's how I came to Lori at Brake Masters. Had a mechanic change the brakes only to leave with the AC not working. My son referred me to Lori and they found the problem the other mechanic caused, basically tightened what was loosened for me. I have brought every car in my family back to her ever since. Straight forward, always fair and always honest. I value that!
